I have talked quite a bit over the last year about concussions in football, so I was happy to have Dr. Uzma Samadani on my America Weekend show today. She is a neurosurgeon and assistant professor at NYU who has developed a new way to diagnose concussions, which may help in both sports and real-world applications, such as the military or auto accidents. She explained what her technology achieves and why it’s been so hard to diagnose concussions up to this point.
