This video of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell freezing up again today is hard to watch for anyone who’s had an elderly parent with serious cognitive and physical issues.
However, I hate the fact that almost every news outlet that reported on this event used the phrase “McConnell appeared to freeze.” They would never say a hurricane “appeared to” hit the Florida coast, would they? Just say “McConnell froze.”
Then, if you’re CNN, put up your panel of 9 people without medical degrees to explain why.
And if you’re Fox News, ignore the McConnell freeze while continuing to insist Joe Biden — who’s a year younger than McConnell — is too old to hold office.
