In a quiet suburban neighborhood in Ohio, a father let his six-year-old daughter walk to the convenience store by herself. When she didn’t come home, he went looking for her and the store owner told him the police had taken her. Next thing he knows, he’s being questioned as a bad parent for teaching his kid to be independent.
