I fell into the YouTube rabbit hole again today and found this video from last December. As a person who flies fairly often, my reaction to the idea of having “therapy llamas” at an airport is NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.
Naturally, the happy talk news anchors think it’s a great idea. They’re wrong. At a busy travel time (like summer), it’s hard enough squeezing through the cattle call of humans in the terminal. Now I have to keep an eye out for freakin’ llamas?
That sign at the TSA screening checkpoint which lists items travelers can’t take onboard a plane (e.g. fireworks, ammunition, hatchets) should be updated to include all wild animals. Especially ones that spit at people.
Incidentally, antlers are included in the things you can board with, but whose idea was it to put fake antlers on these llamas?
