I have lost track of the number of times I’ve watched SpaceX bring the first stage of one of its reusable rockets back to Earth for a nice, soft, vertical landing. But it still amazes me every time. This one took place just a few hours ago, marking the ninth time this booster has launched and returned safely. That’s so much better than the old days when the equipment would fall into the ocean, never to be seen again.
