CNN’s Dana Bash and Wolf Blitzer — descendants of Jews who died in the Holocaust — traveled to Poland to mark the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. While there, they toured the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz and stood and reflected on the spot where their relatives died. I don’t know how Bash was able to keep it together while reading just a few sentences from a goodbye letter her great-grandmother sent Dana’s grandmother, knowing she was about to be murdered…
