In 2016, I wrote a piece explaining why I’ve loved Bonnie Raitt since I was a teenager (read it here). Since then, I’ve continued to buy her albums, attend her concerts, and wonder why she hasn’t received a Kennedy Center Honor.

This month, PBS is showing a new episode of “Austin City Limits” that Bonnie recorded on her continuing Just Like That tour. She still looks and sounds great, while remaining one of the best slide guitarists in the world.

I was also happy to note that the stage setup did not include any blinding lights pointed at the audience, a pet peeve I’ve expressed numerous times on this site.

I have embedded the whole ACL show below, but if it doesn’t show up in your browser, you’ll find it here.
