For decades, every football expert would tell you, “Defense wins football games.” After today’s Championship games, with the Eagles winning 55-23 and the Chiefs winning 32-29, I think we need a new football quote.
I don’t have one, but I do think the key for Kansas City in the Super Bowl will be not allowing the Eagles to be in a position where they need only one yard for a first down or touchdown. In other words, avoid any possible Tush Push scenario!
By the way, the opening betting line — posted moments after the Chiefs-Bills game ended — has Kansas City a point and a half favorite over Philadelphia. You now have thirteen days to argue amongst yourselves.
