I’ve been a longtime subscriber to Entertainment Weekly and was sad to see the announcement that the print edition will cease to be, leaving only an online presence. It’s not the first time a magazine I enjoyed reading regularly went away (e.g. Premiere and Brill’s Content).

The virtual version will have to come up with a better name than Entertainment Weekly (which was already downgraded to a monthly). EW.com doesn’t work. It sounds like someone just found a bug in their salad. Entertainment Now is already taken. Hey Entertainment! (complete with the exclamation mark) might work.

My suggestion: Here’s Your Goddamn Entertainment.

Regardless of what the new product is called, I still won’t get 95% of the references in the Bullseye graphic.
