I passed a McDonald’s billboard yesterday promoting its “any size coke or tea for $1” offer and wondered who asks for a small one?

There was a full page ad in the Sunday New York Times with a note from Andre Calantzopoulos, CEO of Phillip Morris International: “I’m committed to a smoke-free future. And a conversation about how to achieve it together.” Okay, I’ll start: STOP MAKING CIGARETTES!

The next time you see a sign for a “psychic” and think it’s all for fun and entertainment, think about this con artist in Maryland, who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from five victims. Kudos to the judge for tossing her into jail for six years, but note that she’d already done eight years in the slammer in Florida for previous crimes, and that didn’t change her for the better.

Now that Bill Cosby’s been sentenced to prison for his sexual assaults, maybe someone should go back and check “The Cosby Show” to see if Cliff Huxtable was a licensed gynecologist.
