I’m sorry to see that we won’t get to see a new season of “The Amazing Race” until May. That’s too long to wait for Phil Keoghan and those great roadblocks and detours! Wish it still aired two seasons/year a la “Survivor.”
I’ve been frustrated by Netflix not making it easy to know what movies/TV shows are new to the streaming service each week. Sure, you can go to the Recently Added list and browse through dozens of titles, but there should be a weekly email we can subscribe to that gives us the titles with links. Fortunately, a third party has taken on that task: New On Netflix USA. I see its RSS feed in my Feedly inbox every day, and when there’s something I think I’d like to watch, I can easily add it to my Netflix queue. Thought you might want to check it out, too.
I can’t explain why, but watching the joy in the control room at JPL as the InSight spacecraft touched down on Mars Monday made me happy — even without photos or video of the Martian surface!
It’s hard to believe Sylvester Stallone is still playing Rocky Balboa 42 years and 8 movies after the original hit theaters. Has there been any other movie character portrayed over such a long period by the same actor?
