Bill Cosby being released from prison is a perfect example of a justice system perverted by the people who work within it.

You can read elsewhere the reasons the case broke down, and why blame can be placed at the feet of the prosecutor-turned-defense-attorney who represented Cosby (after doing the same for Trump in his second impeachment). But it’s important to remember that five dozen other women have also claimed Cosby took advantage of them sexually, crimes for which he won’t face any repercussions.

They’re the ones forgotten by all those who celebrated Cosby’s release yesterday, including Phylicia Rashad, who tweeted “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted — a miscarriage of justice is corrected!” I wonder how Clair Huxtable would have reacted if a famous actress had said that about a man who had raped one of her clients.

Meanwhile, across America, morally bankrupt TV producers are jockeying to be the first to book Cosby on his image redemption tour.
